What you will do:
  1. Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing 75+ pounds.
  2. Pre-inspect truck, load materials, and verify accuracy of load.
  3. Set up job parameters and inspect site to ensure a safe environment to unload.
  4. Unload truck at site – involves setting up barriers, occasional lifting of heavy shingles, and use of truck-mounted crane.
  5. Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols, always wearing appropriate PPE.
  6. Maintain regular communication with dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of the product.
  7. Report any potential hazards to branch management.
What you will bring:
  1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification
  3. Valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing with 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  4. Experience operating a knuckle boom crane truck or similar equipment.
  5. Preferred experience driving a manual transmission truck and operating heavy equipment for unloading.
  6. In-depth knowledge of crane operations, rigging techniques, and relevant safety regulations.
  7. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  8. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
