Job summary

Texas Materials - Gulf Coast Area is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to transport aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials to jobsites and customer locations, maintaining timely deliveries and professional customer service.

Responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections, complying with DOT/OSHA regulations, completing logs and delivery tickets, securing loads, and communicating with dispatch.

Qualifications

• CDL license (Class A or B) is required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate is required.
• Must have a clean driving record and meet company/insurance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles (dump trucks, tractor-trailers, water trucks, etc.).
• Transport aggregates, asphalt, and construction materials to jobsites and customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete logs, inspection reports, and delivery tickets accurately.
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with loading regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch and jobsite personnel regarding schedules and needs.
