Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Class B CDL Driver in Warrington, PA to safely transport fire sprinkler materials and support warehouse tasks. The role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with hourly pay between $25 and $26.

You will deliver to customer sites, obtain signatures, assist with loading/unloading, and help with warehouse duties when not delivering. A valid Class B license, 1 year CDL experience, and good customer service are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience driving the class of vehicle assigned.
  • Minimum 1 year of CDL experience.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • Valid state-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification designation and proof of certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to safely operate flatbed trucks and pickup trucks.
  • Ability to assist with loading and unloading materials.
  • Ability to use a smartphone and other basic mobile technology.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to safely handle and secure materials.
  • Ability to perform warehouse duties when delivery activity is limited.
  • Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class B 10-wheeler and 6-wheeler flatbed trucks and F-250 pickup trucks, all with automatic transmissions.
  • Deliver fire sprinkler materials to customer locations according to scheduled delivery times.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials while remaining within applicable weight limits.
  • Validate delivery directions and communicate with supervisors throughout the workday.
  • Obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets and ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately.
  • Pick up customer returns and verify products against credit requests.
  • Pick up local-purchase orders and return required documentation to the warehouse.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and applicable safety procedures.
  • Fuel vehicles as needed and promptly report vehicle problems, accidents, moving violations, or defects to the supervisor.
  • Assist with warehouse activities when deliveries are not scheduled, including pulling and staging orders, receiving materials, and wrapping skids.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and uniform requirements.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Job Summary

The Class B CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting fire sprinkler materials, including pipe, valves, and fittings, to customer locations using automatic flatbed trucks and pickup trucks. The role includes customer-facing delivery responsibilities as well as warehouse support when deliveries are not scheduled. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, comfortable using a smartphone, and provides professional and friendly customer service.

Job Responsibilities
