Job summary

VAMAC INC in Ruckersville, VA is hiring a Driver Associate for a Monday–Friday day shift. You will make complete and on-time deliveries, assist in loading/unloading trucks, and help replenish inventory while supporting a family-oriented team.

Qualifications include a CDL Class B with DOT medical certification, strong computer skills, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. We offer health/dental/life insurance, 401(k) match, paid holidays, PTO, drug screening, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with current DOT Medical Certification
• Proficient computer skills and ability to use Epicor Solar Eclipse or similar systems
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask effectively
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and branches accurately and on time, load/unload trucks, pull orders, transfer stock, and assist with warehouse receiving and replenishment
• Collaborate with team members to support warehouse orders, truck loading, yard organization, and customer assistance
• Follow company policies to maintain a safe, friendly, and team-oriented culture

Pay Rate: $21 Hourly (Minimum Starting Rate) + Performance Incentives

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing exceptional service to Associates and customers by making complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries of product to customers and/or branches, loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders and transfers, helping to replenish inventory, or receiving product in the warehouse
• Working cooperatively with other team members while assisting with warehouse orders, loading trucks, organizing and maintaining the yard area, and assisting customers with their purchases
• Following ethical standards and complying with company policies that ensure a safe, friendly, and team-oriented family culture

Required Skills:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B including current DOT Medical Certification, where required
• Computer literacy. Ability to learn and use the processes in our Epicor Solar Eclipse system, VAMAC's intranet, or other systems as applicable
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms (i.e. in-person, phone, email, etc.)
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team; ability to multitask
• Ability to stand and walk for long duration, as well as lift up to 100 pounds

Preferred Skills:

• Boom/Crane Truck experience
• Previous experience using an RF Gun
• Current forklift certification
