Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Driver in California to provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and outings, using wheelchair vans, buses, or cars. You will join a caring team, help with vehicle upkeep, and ensure high hospitality during every interaction.

The role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and strong English communication, with a full-time schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
Offers of employment contingent upon post-offer screenings (background check, drug screening, TB test).

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with laws.
Assist residents in and out of vehicles, may include wheelchair lift.
Perform day-to-day upkeep and preventive maintenance on vehicles (fueling, servicing).
Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed.
Assist with Receptionist/Concierge duties as needed.
Make hospitality and customer service a priority in every interaction.

About The Role

Full Time) Sunday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by transporting them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles which may include a wheelchair van, wheelchair bus, and car. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety inspections for all company vehicles. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

About The Role

Your Typical Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift
Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments
Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed
Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed
Make hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Please note CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
