Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a full-time Driver in California to provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and outings, using company vehicles including wheelchair-accessible options. You will assist with vehicle upkeep and safety inspections, and support residents with mobility needs while delivering warm, hospitality-focused service.

The role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and teamwork in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Reliable, empathetic, and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with laws.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including use of a mechanical wheelchair lift if needed.
• Day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance of company vehicles.
• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed.
• Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed.
• Prioritize hospitality and customer service in every interaction.

As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by transporting them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles which may include a wheelchair van, wheelchair bus, and car. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety inspections for all company vehicles. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
• Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift
• Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments
• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed
• Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed
• Make hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Please note CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
