Job Title: CDL Driver/Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Driver/Warehouse Specialist to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Director of Operations and Operations Coordinator to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse for the shipping and receiving of goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making daily deliveries to/from ports and unloading goods, ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL vehicle to make daily deliveries to and from ports.
• Unload and load goods efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Operations Coordinator to maintain a well-organized warehouse.
• Keep an organized record of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist with daily warehouse operations, ensuring deadlines for deliveries are met.
• Coordinate with inventory reports to ensure stock levels are accurately maintained.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while driving and operating equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class A) driver’s license.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations and delivery logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Additional Details:

• Salary: $45,760 - $47,840 per year
• Shift: First
• Work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate loading/unloading of daily deliveries to prepare for efficient and timely delivery schedule.
• Complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from ports and vendors, adhering to safety and time constraints.
• Support inventory controls by communicating with warehouse team and supervisors.
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and complying with procedures and regulations.
• Complete reports by entering required information daily and as needed.
• Maintain technical knowledge to ensure safety standards with trucks and reports accordingly.
• Contribute to team effort by communicating needs and delivery confirmations.

Essential Functions:

• Wear steel toe shoes.
• Manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for 8 hours at a time.
