Consumer Fresh Produce, Inc. is the 1st Choice of fresh & specialty produce in the region. We service retail grocery, wholesale distributors, and food service customers inside roughly 200 miles of our location. We operate a 95,000 square foot refrigerated distribution facility in the heart of the historic Strip District of Pittsburgh. Consumer Fresh is looking for both CDL Class A & Class B Produce Delivery Drivers to deliver top quality produce to our customer facilities throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York, and Maryland.
As a CDL Class A or Class B Produce Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and unloading products. Maintaining on-time performance, interacting professionally with customers, and following all applicable regulations and safety practices are keys to success in this position.

General Physical Demands:
In addition to sitting for periods of time while driving to each location, this position requires performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs throughout the workday. Worker may occasionally reach at, above, and below shoulder level to obtain goods. Lifting of individual items is occasionally performed during loading/unloading of goods. Individual produce containers do not exceed 50 pounds (with very few exceptions). Maximum weight is 65 to 70 pounds.
Specific Physical Demands:
Lifting: Performed as part of all work activities in some capacity. Amounts lifted may range from 1 to 50 pounds (average pounds per case up to 35 pounds). Most lifting will be from shoulder to waist level with an occasional lift pulling from overhead to floor level. Drivers are instructed to bend at the knees to lift from the floor.
Carrying: Cartons carried range from 1-35 pounds, walking distance varies.
Walking: Frequently throughout the day loading/unloading product. Most all work surfaces are concrete.
Standing: Standing occurs as needed.
Sit/Drive: Driving a commercial vehicle is required, sitting may occur for extended periods of time.
Bending: Bending from the waist and/or at the knees may be performed as part of some work activities.
Stooping: May need to be performed by the choice of the worker; although not recommended.
Twist/Turn: May be performed as part of some work activities; using caution if carrying any product.
Push/Pull: Pushing or pulling may be needed when rearranging product on less than a full pallet of goods.
Climbing: Must be able to climb up into the tractor (approx. 15 inch step) using three points of contact.
Working Conditions: Work is performed inside the warehouse, at a customer site, or may be outdoors for a short period of time. Inside trailer and/or cooler temperatures may be as low as 35 degrees.
