Job Description: Local Route Truck Driver (CDL A or B)

We’re seeking motivated, engaged individuals to enhance travel experiences. As a Local Route Truck Driver, your responsibilities include loading galley equipment onto the truck, driving to various aircraft, and unloading equipment. Typically, drivers operate on local roads, outside airports and terminals.

Compensation: $25.70/hr. plus a $1 shift premium for PM shifts. Additionally, a $1,250 sign-on bonus is offered.

Union Details:

• Union initiation fee: $200.00
• Union monthly dues: 2.5 times the hourly rate plus $8 strike fund fee

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load equipment onto the truck.
• Drive to the aircraft at the local airport.
• Load galleys according to customer guidelines.
• Unload dirty equipment and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Operate in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft.
• Follow directions and work collaboratively within the transportation team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Current U.S. driver’s license with Class A or B endorsement required.
• Some locations may require a Customs Seal.
• Ability to read and write to complete forms, and communicate effectively with team members.

Job Requirements:

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime as needed.
• Prompt arrival and adherence to company policies.
• Complete paperwork and administrative duties accurately.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Stand, bend, lift, and work at heights up to 25 feet.
