Job summary

ImportMex is hiring Bi-Lingual Tractor-Trailer Drivers for our Distribution Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. This role focuses on timely delivery with strong customer service, loading, unloading, and log compliance.

You will operate in a safety-conscious environment, benefit from PTO and comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, and enjoy home time several nights each week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT medical standards.
• Must have a valid CDL-A with a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills to operate digital driver logs and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor and trailer via pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Load, transport, and deliver products using pallet jacks and hand jacks as needed.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Unload products, collect payments, and secure customer signatures when required.
• Respond to customer questions and address concerns; escalate issues to supervision as needed.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and keep accurate logs; complete related delivery documents timely.
• Ensure contents are secured in trailers to prevent damage during delivery.
• Follow SQF-related documents and procedures; perform other tasks as necessary.

Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers in good condition, without damage, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned tractor and trailer by conducting a pre and post trip inspection.

• Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering products in a safe and timely manner using pallet jacks and hand jacks as needed.

• Review orders before and upon delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction

• Responsible for unloading products, accepting payments, and securing customer signatures when needed.

• Respond to customer questions and address concerns, escalating issues to supervision appropriately

• Adhere to all state and federal DOT regulations, maintaining accurate logs

• Complete and submit documents related to deliveries timely

• Ensure contents are properly secured in trailers to prevent damage during delivery

• Responsible for adhering to all documents and procedures as it relates to SQF

• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record
• Required to meet DOT medical standards
• Must have a valid CDL-A with a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer skills needed to operate digital driver logs, scanners, and other required systems
• Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
• Ability to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
