Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Typically 2 years driving experience; training available for right candidate.
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Must pass Pre-Employment DOT drug screening.
• Willingness to travel for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Transport asphalt and aggregate from plants to job sites safely and on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records including mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate delivery schedules and site conditions with project managers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transport.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Provide professional customer service at job sites.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
