Job summary

Alliance Transportation, part of APAC-Central, CRH, seeks a safety-minded Truck Driver to transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and equipment to multiple job sites and yards. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and help with yard operations.

Must have CDL A, 18+, pass DOT checks, and be willing to travel and work nights/weekends when needed. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, pay at $20/hour (experience-dependent), comprehensive benefits, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL A license required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in dump/tractor/trailer driving preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn are welcome training provided!
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
• MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
• Strict commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks safely and professionally on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining thorough DOT-compliant documentation.
• Check vital vehicle functions for optimal operation.
• Attach and detach a variety of trailers as needed.
• Keep detailed delivery logs and complete billing paperwork accurately.
• Load and unload equipment and materials with care and efficiency.
• Monitor gauges and controls throughout vehicle operation.
• Maintain daily mileage logs and ensure clean, orderly vehicles.
• Follow all company safety protocols and report any concerns to leadership.
