Job Description:
The CDL Driver is responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of food products and for maintaining the Food Bank
fleet. Requires loading and unloading with powered jack at dock locations and rural sites with a liftgate. Class A
drivers may have an occasional night away for our Rural Delivery Service, no more than once a month.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pick up, unload, segregate food products, and complete proper documentation for product donations.
• Loading and unloading products on a forklift, working on the receiving dock and warehouse
• Deliver agency orders to rural sites.
• Maintain Food Bank vehicles, including routine maintenance (fluids, fuel, etc.), and complete daily DVIR reports
on paper or company-provided tablet.
• Responsible for pulling and distributing orders for member programs, including updating invoices.
• Assist the warehouse with receiving deliveries, pulling orders, staging, replenishing inventory, labeling, building
kits, assisting with customer pick-ups, daily cleaning, organization, date labeling, and removing spoiled product.
• Assist in paperwork tracking on critical issues such as temperature logs, chemical storage, and food safety to
meet AIB Food Safety and FMCSA regulations and requirements.
• Responsible for the daily housekeeping of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Must have a Class A CDL License.
