Job summary

Cencora is hiring a CDL Driver (Class A) for Newburgh, NY, to safely perform local pickups and deliveries between client sites, World Courier facilities, and area airports. The role emphasizes shipment integrity, cold chain, and top-tier client service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:00am–9:00am, with pay starting at $33.65/hr and potential up to $35.40/hr based on incentives and bonuses. Minimum 2+ years in logistics/transportation, high school diploma or GED, and forklift operation certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field.
• Certification in forklift operation or licensure appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pickup, delivery, loading, unloading, and transfer activities to support accurate and timely movement of materials and products.
• Supports receiving, checking, storing, and replenishing inventory to maintain stock accuracy and product availability.
• Maintains shipment, inspection, receipt, inventory, and delivery documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Inspects assigned vehicles, equipment, and cargo conditions before and after transport and reports safety, maintenance, or shipment issues for resolution.
• Communicates delivery instructions, shipment updates, and discrepancies to support service continuity and effective coordination of daily logistics activities.
• Maintains warehouse and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition to support safe handling, inventory control, and operational readiness.
• Provides routine customer and administrative support related to delivery, inventory, and warehouse activities.
