Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers in Florida. The role operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, with responsibilities including safe driving, daily inspections, and courteous service to customers. Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to meet company DOT requirements.
• Ability to read and understand English and follow written instructions.
• Demonstrates safe driving practices and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a refuse collection truck on pre-established routes and dumps garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous customer service and maintains positive public interactions.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety paperwork.
• Maintains clean vehicle; checks fluids, tires, and under-hood components.
• Assists on route with helpers and supports proper load handling.
• Completes required reports and documents per company/DOT guidelines.
• Complies with DOT/state requirements for commercial vehicle operators.
• Ensures compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
• Demonstrates teamwork and adheres to assigned schedule and route plan.
• Participates in training and stays current with company procedures.
