Job Responsibilities

1. Build loads and assist customers.
2. Deliver materials to job sites and inspect/maintain trucks.
3. Report shortages and claims to the Yard Manager.
4. Assist in loading, storing materials, and maintaining yard cleanliness.
5. Ensure all deliveries are local, with nightly home time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months truck driving experience, preferably with lumber dumping.
• Preferably 6 months forklift operation experience.
• Ability to perform arithmetic, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques, road restrictions, roadside inspections, and load securement.
• Physical ability to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
