Buell Fuel is a fast-growing, family-owned company headquartered in Deansboro, New York. Requirements:

This is an hourly position. Each shift is approximately 10 hours depending on required deliveries and may be more or less in duration. Driver must be willing to work a flexible schedule and may be called on from time to time to work overtime hours and additional shifts. Overtime pay is compensation after 40 hours. Must be good with customers and have a good rapport with people.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Must be willing to obtain a TWIC card.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of CDL B driving experience, current CDL B with tank and HazMat endorsement, with a desire to learn the tanker delivery field.

Must be able to pass DOT certified physical examination, maximum of every two years.

EEO/Drug Testing is required prior to hiring. Random ongoing drug testing is required while employed.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload gasoline, oil, and propane products to and from specified destinations, following the route and time schedule provided by the Dispatcher.
2. Comply with all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.
3. Complete daily and monthly paperwork requirements in order to ensure compliance with company standards and protection of its assets 100% of the time.
4. Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions with exposure to oil and/or propane fumes and the elements.
5. Follow all DOT and HazMat regulations, and Buell Fuel's safety standards.
6. Must be safety-focused with an ability to demonstrate the safe operation of the vehicle assigned, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
7. Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.
8. Have a positive attitude.
9. Must be able to use minimal math skills to calculate proper loading and delivery of products.
10. Inform customers of new products and services.
11. Participate in any required job training and safety meetings.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
13. Communicate all service issues properly to the mechanic and dispatcher.
14. Maintain an environmentally compliant workspace.
15. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach to perform duties.
16. Report to work as scheduled with minimal absenteeism or tardiness.

$26.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
