Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Bus Driver to transport residents to activities and appointments, maintain safety, and perform routine vehicle upkeep. The role requires a valid Class C CDL with a clean driving record and at least one year of bus driving experience, plus CPR certification may be required.

• Current Class C CDL with no major driving violations in past 3 years; certification from OSPI on bus driver training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a large capacity passenger bus to transport residents to activities, errands, and destinations under close supervision.
• Operate the bus safely and ensure passenger safety at all times.
• Maintain the vehicle; perform general vehicle maintenance as needed.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, drives a large capacity passenger bus to transport residents to activities, errands, and destinations.
• Properly operates bus and ensures the safety of all passengers.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the vehicle.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
• Minimum of one year successful experience operating a bus is required.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license with a good driving record. CPR training and certification may be required.
• Current Class C CDL with no major driving violations for the past three (3) years. Current certification from Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction on bus driver training preferred. CPR training and certification may be required.
