Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, actively hiring for a delivery/loader role in North Dakota. The position involves touch‑freight handling, pre‑inspections, hazard reporting, and ensuring safe loading/unloading on site.

Required are a valid Class B CDL and at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving. NCCCO certification is preferred, with potential for boom truck experience. Outdoor work in all weather and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• NCCCO certification and/or boom truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
