Qualifications

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver and take charge of delivering goods efficiently and safely across various routes. As a CDL Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of logistics cargo handling and supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service. Your expertise in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and hazardous materials regulations will be essential to success in this fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Plan and execute delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across diverse locations.
• Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable.

Skills

• Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tankers with manual transmission capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of truck driving safety protocols, including hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods handling.
• Skilled in route driving using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery planning.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling standards.
• Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance requirements, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of sensitive goods.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record focused on safety and compliance.
• Experience with delivery driving across over-the-road (OTR) routes involving long-distance travel.
