Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply in Vinita Park, MO is seeking a Driver to safely operate CDL-equipped trucks, load/unload materials, and deliver to job sites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes safety, daily vehicle inspections, ability to lift heavy loads, and customer-facing responsibilities; competitive sign-on bonus and benefits are provided; home every night.

Qualifications

• Valid state CDL Class A or B with clear MVR/DOT record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current Medical Certification Card required.
• Experience in CDL driving in the previous year preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the most efficient route to job sites following all traffic laws.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily.
• Assist in unloading materials using crane, conveyor, piggybacks, or by hand.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Represent Gulfeagle on job sites with professional conduct.

Requirements

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
• Must have the ability torepeatedlylift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be able to pass a company required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy

Preferred

• Previous material handling a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane is a plus
