Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is hiring a Driver to safely operate routes to job sites and support loading and unloading of building materials. You'll be a front-line face on the job site, leading and supervising others as needed.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B with clean MVR/DOT, 21+ years old, medical certification, and the ability to pass drug screening. Home every night and a competitive sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid state CDL Class A or B with clear MVR and DOT record.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Current and valid Medical Certification Card.
• Recent CDL driving position with consecutive driving experience.
• High attention to detail and dexterity in vehicle control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb when needed.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass drug screening; random testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the most efficient route to job sites while obeying laws and company procedures.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily and unload as needed.
• Utilize crane, conveyor, piggybacks, or manual methods to unload.
• Represent Gulfeagle on job sites and lead/supervise coworkers as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Our drivers are responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to the job site, while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures. They assist in loading and/or securing materials on trucks daily and help unload materials by using crane, conveyor, piggybacks and/or by hand. Gulfeagle drivers are the face of our Company on the jobsite as they lead, instruct, and supervise others.

Requirements:

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
• Must have the ability torepeatedlylift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40' ladder (location based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S

Must be able to pass a company required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy

Preferred:

• Previous material handling a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane is a plus
