1915 South is hiring a CDL Driver to join our team in the southeast. This role requires operating heavy trailers with GVW over 26,000 lbs, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining logs.

You will drive on a full-time evening/night schedule and must pass CDL and DOT physical requirements, as well as a drug test and background check. • Proven experience with CDL commercial driving
• Ability to operate and safely drive heavy vehicles (GVW >26,000 lbs)
• Proficient with GPS/routing systems and reading maps
• Must be able to work evening and night shifts with a full-time 40-hour week
• Must pass all CDL driving requirements and DOT physical certification
• Must pass drug test and background check

Job Duties

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of over 26,000 lbs.
• Perform inspections and clean your vehicle before and after each trip. Maintain maintenance as needed; refuel, change oil, tire pressure, etc.
• Keep managers notified of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Keep documentation of driving and delivery logs
• Adhere to company rules and regulations and obey all applicable traffic laws
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and prioritize safety at all times

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work evening and night shifts with a full-time 40-hour work week.
• Proven experience with CDL commercial driving
• Skilled in driving and parking large heavy semi vehicles
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable, disciplined, resourceful, and alert
• Ability to work independently and a high level of composure and stress management
• Proficient with GPS, routing systems, and reading maps
• Valid commercial driver's licenses; CDL and DOT physical certification
• Must pass all CDL driving requirements
