Job summary

Maersk in Savannah, GA is seeking a reliable Class A Truck Driver to safely operate a Tractor Trailer, load/unload freight, and complete timely deliveries around 200 miles daily.

Requires a valid Class A license, DOT medical, clean driving record, and at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience; must pass road test and complete the application process. Maersk offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, EAP, PTO, and flexible schedules where possible.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license.
• DOT MEDICAL.
• Required Clean driving record (no speeding >15 mph, no DUI or criminal history).
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Tractor Trailer; load and unload freight using a liftgate and pallet jack when needed (touching freight 20% of the time).
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries.
• Deliver to commercial and residential locations.
• Approximately 200 miles driven daily.
• Deliveries to stores, warehouses, yards; airport installations may be required.

Pay

20%TOUCH Feight Pay : $27.00 per hour *The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

Schedule

Monday - Friday - 8am-5:00pm (AM) Mon-Friday 2pm- 10:30pm (PM)
