Job summary

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Driver in Saugus to pick up and deliver trucks and buses and support warehouse activities. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries and complete delivery logs and paperwork.

The role requires a valid CDL A with a clean record, the ability to read maps, and strong teamwork and independence. Physical work with lifts up to 75 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating manual transmissions and hauling trailers.
• Ability to read maps and/or written directions.
• Good communication skills with all levels of the company, vendors, and customers.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver trucks and buses.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe, professional and timely manner.
• Fill out delivery logs and paperwork completely.
• Verify parts orders match the parts pulled for delivery.
• Perform warehouse duties during non-delivery times.
• Pick up and process returned parts and cores from customers daily.

Primary Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating manual transmissions and hauling trailers
• Ability to read and comprehend maps and/or written directions
• Good communication skills with all levels of company, vendors, and customers
• Good organization skills
• Good with numbers and tracking
• Self-motivated that works well independently and with a team

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
