Job summary

A growing metal manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver / Delivery Driver to transport materials, including standing seam products, to customers and job sites across the region. You will ensure safe, accurate, on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and company standards.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• DOT certification and compliance knowledge required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Experience delivering construction, roofing, or building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials and standing seam products to customer locations and job sites.
• Load and unload materials while ensuring products are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Maintain delivery schedules and complete deliveries in a timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and job site personnel.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection records, and related documentation.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, safety concerns, or delivery issues to management.
• Assist with warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
