Job summary

Republic Floor is seeking a CDL‑A licensed driver in Utah (Salt Lake City) to deliver flooring products to retail stores and assist with loading/unloading. You will interact with customers at delivery points and may perform some unloads using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities include loading, operating equipment safely, and adhering to FMCSA/DOT regulations. Expect occasional trips to the California branch (1–2 times monthly) and reporting any vehicle issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation/accident in the last 3 years.
• Reliable and customer oriented.
• Safety oriented and compliant with FMCSA/DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, or assist with loading and unloading using forklift or pallet jack.
• Help unload carpet pad rolls up to 50–80 lbs on certain deliveries.
• Safely operate assigned equipment.
• Comply with federal/state laws and company policies.
• Occasional OTR trips to California branch (1–2 times per month).
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, violations, or damage before and after routes.
• Serve as primary interface with customers at delivery.

Job description

Drivers are responsible for delivering flooring products to retail stores and at times required to pick up returned material. Drivers will assist in pre loading their truck to ensure all orders are accounted for and properly loaded and secured. Must have great customers service skills, safely operate company equipment and follow all FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and/or assisting in loading and unloading truck with forklift, pallet jack and may require unloading by hand.
• driver will have labor involved on some of the deliveries unloading carpet pad rolls 50-80 lbs.
• Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Occasional OTR (1-2 times a month) to our California Branch
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
• Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 25 years of age

• One or fewer moving violations/accidents within the last three years
