Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius. You will inspect vehicles, verify inventory, load and unload, and uphold DOT/OSHA safety standards while providing excellent customer service.

Based in Westbrook, ME, this role requires a clean driving record, valid CDL A or B with air brakes, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and English communication. Background checks and E-Verify are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts safely.
• Must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat) and pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Overview

Position Purpose: The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

Physical Requirements

CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours of driving, lifting up to 100 lbs, and operating forklifts. The role involves working in varied weather, noise, and demanding environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, operate forklifts/Moffett's safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English.
