Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group in the United States is seeking a CDL Driver to join the shipping team on local routes with home daily time. You will safely operate up to 26’ trucks, load/unload materials, and deliver to customer project sites while upholding our safety and service standards.

You must have a valid Class A or B CDL and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a customer‑focused approach in a fast-paced distribution environment.

• Minimum 1 year of consistent commercial driving experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to direct/supervise within department when requested.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates company vehicles up to 26’ trucks per DOT regulations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• VehicleOperation
  • Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service
• Additional training such as Forklift, and other specified equipment may be required

• Basic understanding and knowledge of operation of a forklift and other equipment

  • Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment safety shoes and clothing

• Physical Job Requirements
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
  • Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
  • Occasionally lift and/or move 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces. Some functions may be performed as a team
  • Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles and must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
