Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd seeks a CDL-A/B Driver to join our Wisconsin distribution team. You will deliver orders, ensure accuracy, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while representing the company professionally. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm at our Osseo facility.

Qualified candidates have a valid CDL, DOT medical certificate, and a clean driving record, with strong communication and teamwork skills. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL: Valid Class A or B CDL.
• DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via the most effective routes to ensure complete orders arrive on time.
• Prepare truck for operation by loading products and verifying shipping papers.
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, fluids for safe operation and maintenance.
• Maintain communication with the warehouse team during deliveries.
• Document delivery and receipt of orders and report discrepancies.
• Maintain driving records and required safety/quality documents.
• Work with team to ensure complete, accurate deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties.

Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a CDL‑A or CDL‑B Driver to join our team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

This person will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and work with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate, and on‑time deliveries to Richelieu’s customers. The Delivery Driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs
• Prepare truck for operation by loading the product, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
• Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies
• Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
• Work with other distribution team members to insure complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers
• Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all DOT and other applicable regulations
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints per company policy; communicate information back to company
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
• Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
