With a strong commitment to safety, service, and reliability, we provide high-quality materials to customers across a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team in Mays Landing, NJ.

What is a CDL Driver

As a CDL Driver for NAC, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials to our customers. This role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards. You will serve as the face of NAC to our customers, so professionalism, reliability, and customer service skills are essential.

What you can expect to do as a CDL Driver
  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring accurate delivery and safe handling of all materials, including hazardous materials
  • Verify delivery paperwork, collect signatures, and complete all required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned vehicle
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures while on-site at customer and company locations
What we are looking for in a CDL Driver
  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Hazmat endorsement required
  • Tanker endorsement required
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual and electric pallet jacks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

The annual salary range below is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate / annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay range : $32.00-$34.00
