Job summary

Lion Freight Systems Inc is seeking a CDL-A driver to haul dry van freight across the United States. The driver will be paid at 70 cents per mile and handle 3,000+ miles weekly, with detention, layover, and extra stops paid.

This is a 1099 contractor position based in Chicago, IL, serving the Midwest, South and Southeast regions, with coverage of all 48 states. Compensation reflects mileage-based pay and the independence of a 1099 role.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Dry Van fleet across 48 states, primarily Midwest, South and Southeast.
• Deliver cargo safely and on schedule; communicate with dispatch for load details and changes.

• Equipment (2020-2027): Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International.
