Job Summary

As a CDL Delivery Driver at Greenrise Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. You will be responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle, typically a truck with a CDL (Commercial Driver's License), to transport products or materials to specified destinations. Your primary duty is to deliver items in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Duties & Functions

• Communicating and coordinating with managers
• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
• Reporting defects, accidents and violations
• Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
• Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Performing pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspection reports
• Recording cargo deliveries
• Verifying loads for accuracy
• Knowledge of how to work a skid steerer
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, including the safe handling of hazardous materials, if applicable
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Standards

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, familiar with traffic laws and rules regarding rest periods and maximum miles driven
• A valid and clean driving record, with the license not suspended or revoked
• Physical fitness required; truck drivers must pass a physical exam every two years
• Hand‑eye coordination for fast reaction time on the roads
• Visual and hearing acuity in accordance with federal regulations: must hear a forced whisper at 5 feet, have at least 20/40 vision, a 70‑degree field of vision, and the ability to distinguish the colors of traffic lights
