Job summary

Moscow Building Supply is seeking a self-driven Truck Driver & Material Handler in Moscow, ID. Pay rate depends on skill level and experience.

Duties include building loads, delivering orders, operating material handling equipment, and assisting customers with unloading and placement of products. Requirements include a Class B CDL (Class A preferred), forklift experience, crane or telehandler familiarity, and ability to work longer shifts or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B is required.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Build loads and deliver orders to customers.
• Boomb materials and assist with unloading and placement of products.
• Operate telehandler/knuckle boom crane and Moffett forklift as needed.
• Follow dispatch directions and scheduled routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and pass DOT testing as required.

Job Details: Job Location: Legal Address - Moscow, ID, Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00, General Job Description -- Truck Driver & Material Handler

Reports to: Dispatch Manager

Job Summary:

Moscow Building Supply is currently looking for a self-driven, experienced Truck Driver & Material Handler with a clean driving record. Pay rate depends on skill level & relevant experience. Daily responsibilities include building loads, delivering orders to customers, booming materials, and assisting customers with the unloading & placement of products. Experience with a material telehandler, knuckle boom crane, and Moffett forklift are essential. Must have the ability to work longer than an eight hour shifts when needed, and able to work the occasional weekend if needed. DOT required testing and background checks are mandatory.

Experience:

• Must have Class 'B' Commercial License, but a Class 'A' is preferred
• Must have forklift experience
• Must be personable and able to offer outstanding customer service
• Lumber Building Materials Industry experience preferred
• Experience running short haul loads over various terrain during all seasons also preferred
• Crane certification or experience preferred
• Conduct pre-trip and inspections to ensure trucks safety and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Work with dispatch for scheduled deliveries
• Must be able to work outside in the elements
