Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A driver to join our team in the United States. You will primarily make deliveries to customers and transport materials between our locations, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient service.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, you will deliver to customer sites and assist in yard operations, while maintaining high levels of customer service and operating various equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc).

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid CDL license
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
• Experience with flat beds and dump trucks
• At least a CDL A is required

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety and perform preventative maintenance

Job description

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicatedCDL Class A to join our team. In this role, you will primarily make deliveries to customers and transport materials between our locations.Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our customers recieve their materials on time while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront of your work.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, your interaction with customers will be crucial in providing them with the best experience possible. You’ll be expected to exhibit exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to operate various equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.

Customer job site and warehouse delivery

Assist in yard operations, including loading, unloading, and moving product

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with customers and team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues

Proven work experience as a CDL Driver

Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

No recent moving or driving violations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)

Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations

Valid CDL license

Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment

Experience with flat beds and dump trucks

At least a CDL A is required

Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
