HOME EVERY NIGHT!

The CDL Driver's day typically begins around 7:00 AM—sometimes earlier—and ends approximately at 4:30 PM. Generally, there is no weekend work, although hours may vary by location.

Responsibilities:

1. Live the mission statement.
2. Act as a front-line Lansing representative, providing outstanding customer service.
3. Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
4. Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
5. Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
6. Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer and strive to improve that level of service.
7. Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
8. This is a "get-the-job-done" position; you may be asked to perform other functions not specifically listed, such as cycle counts, inventory management, or inside sales.

Qualifications:

1. CDL-B (or A) license is required.
2. Clean driving record.
3. Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, as well as part of a team.
4. Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
5. Experience with building products is highly beneficial.
6. Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
7. At least one year of driving experience.
8. Forklift certification and experience with piggyback trucks.
