HOME EVERY NIGHT!
The CDL Driver's day typically begins around 7:00 AM—sometimes earlier—and ends approximately at 4:30 PM. Generally, there is no weekend work, although hours may vary by location.
Responsibilities:
- Live the mission statement.
- Act as a front-line Lansing representative, providing outstanding customer service.
- Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
- Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
- Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
- Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer and strive to improve that level of service.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- This is a "get-the-job-done" position; you may be asked to perform other functions not specifically listed, such as cycle counts, inventory management, or inside sales.
Qualifications:
- CDL-B (or A) license is required.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, as well as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Experience with building products is highly beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
- At least one year of driving experience.
- Forklift certification and experience with piggyback trucks.
