Job summary

We seek an Airport Transfer Truck Driver with CDL-A and hazmat endorsements to move cargo between aircraft and warehouses, adhering to safety, security, and regulatory requirements. The role demands reliable, customer-focused service, strong ramp operations knowledge, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–2 years trucking experience with manual transmission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations.
• Ability to deal with conflict and maintain professionalism.
• Must pass drug test and background check and obtain airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo via 53' trailer from aircraft to warehouse and back to aircraft while following safety regulations.
• Interact with airline representatives and staff to coordinate transfers.
• Maintain safety and security standards and comply with procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The work of an Airport Transfer Truck Driver includes but are not limited to currently hold a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements. Ability to drive a tractor trailer daily to accommodate busy workload at airport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Airport Transfer Truck Driver - include the following:

Transport cargo via 53' trailer from various types of aircraft to warehouse or

warehouse to aircraft while adhering to strict safety regulations.

• Customer service oriented as you will be interacting with airline representatives and staff.

Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements for an Airport Transfer Truck Driver:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum 1-2 years Trucking experience with manual transmission

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Leadership ability

Customer focus and quality awareness

Ability to deal with conflict

Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.

Physical Requirements for an Airport Transfer Truck Driver:

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.

Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.

Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment

Schedule of Hours Alliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day seven days a week in three operational shifts, AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, adhocs, etc. Applicants must be able to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Strict adherence to company attendance policies are expected and enforced.
