Job description

The work of an Airport Driver includes but is not limited to holding a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements—the ability to drive a tractor-trailer daily to accommodate a busy workload at the airport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Airport Driver include:

• Transport cargo via 53’ trailer from aircraft to warehouse or vice versa, adhering to strict safety regulations.
• Interact with airline representatives and staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements for an Airport Driver:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Class A License.
• 1-2 years of trucking experience with manual transmission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of ramp operations.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Leadership qualities.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.
• Ability to handle conflicts.
• Must pass drug test and background check; able to obtain airport security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
• Stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and noise levels within the airport environment.

Work Schedule:

Alliance Ground International operates 24/7 in three shifts. Employees must be flexible, working weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays, with adherence to attendance policies.
