The ideal candidate will transport goods efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. This role is critical to maintaining our supply chain operations and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Essential Duties

1. Deliver building materials to customers
2. Properly strap and secure loads according to DOT regulations and company policy
3. Perform pre and post trip inspections and report to a supervisor
4. Maintain paper driving logs
5. Communicate periodically with the dispatcher

Required Skills And Qualifications

1. Possess a valid CDL A
2. Have a driving record that meets company standards
3. At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
4. Pass and maintain a DOT physical
5. Pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings
6. Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
7. Experience with Moffett, roller bed, or construction delivery is a plus
8. High school diploma or equivalent
