Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is hiring a Driver in California to drive efficient routes to job sites and follow safety rules. You will load and secure materials, assist unloading with cranes or by hand, and help supervise on site. This role offers competitive pay and a sign-on bonus with the benefit of arriving home nightly.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B with clean MVR/DOT, medical card, and prior CDL experience. Excellent communication and physical stamina are essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with clear MVR and DOT record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current Medical Certification Card required.
• Must have held CDL driving position in previous year.
• High attention and dexterity in vehicle control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb.
• Ability to climb rooftop and proper stacking (location-based).
• Lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to climb a 40’ ladder (location-based).
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the most efficient route to the job site while observing laws and safety rules.
• Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily.
• Help unload materials using crane, conveyor, or by hand.
• Lead, instruct, and supervise others on the job site.
• Represent Gulfeagle on the job site delivering quality and value.

Requirements:

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Must have held CDL driving position the previous year with consecutive driving experience
• Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Ability and willingness to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
• Must have the ability torepeatedlylift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S

**Must be able to pass a company required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy**

Preferred:

• Previous material handling a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Certified to operate a crane is a plus
