Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a Local CDL Class A or B Driver to safely deliver products to customers and job sites within a limited radius of the Atkinson branch. No overnight stays with potential overtime during peak seasons and start/end at the branch.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A/B, clean driving record, DOT/OSHA knowledge a plus, basic computer skills, forklift experience a plus, ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly, and passing background/drug/DOT physical checks.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License Class A or B.
• Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management.
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift experience is helpful (Other type of truck experience will be considered).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed.
• Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment.
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms.
• Understand and adhere to the FMCSA regulations.
• Perform additional related duties, such as stocking, order entry, shipping, receiving, and more.

As our Local CDL Class A or B Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely deliver products to customers' places of business or job sites within a maximum radius of your home branch. Essential Duties:

• Prioritize safety above all else!
• Comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle
• Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment
