Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a Local CDL Class A or B Driver to safely deliver products to customer sites within a limited radius of the home branch. No overnight stays, weekly pay, and overtime during peak seasons are available.

The role emphasizes safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, loading/unloading, and accurate delivery records. Based at the San Antonio, FL branch with a supportive culture and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License Class A.
• Safe driving record with no major violations in the last three years.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge for records and entry.
• Forklift experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer sites and branch locations.
• Load, unload, and stage orders at warehouses or job sites.
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records with receipts and logs.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety requirements.
• Perform related duties including stocking, shipping, and receiving.

Heritage Landscape Supply, is on the lookout for a safety-conscious, self-motivated team player to join our family as a Local CDL Class A or B Driver. As our Local CDL Class A Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely deliver products to customers' places of business or job sites within a maximum radius of your home branch. Essential Duties:

• Prioritize safety above all else!
• Comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle
• Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment
• Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed
• Understand and adhere to the FMCSA regulations
• Perform additional related duties, such as stocking, order entry, shipping, receiving, and more
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms

Requirements:

• Valid CDL License Class A
• Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
• Forklift experience is helpful (Other type of truck experience will be considered.)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
