Job summary

RWC International is seeking a CDL Driver to professionally transport customer vehicles for the Service Department or deliver a truck in or out of state as directed by the Sales Department.

You will deliver trucks and buses to aftermarket and body companies, assist sales in delivering new trucks to customers, and maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with customers about their vehicles. Safety and accuracy in documenting vehicle condition are essential.

Qualifications

  • CDL license and clean driving record required.
  • Willingness to transport vehicles domestically and out of state.
  • Good communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver trucks and buses to aftermarket companies and body companies for installation.
  • Assist sales staff in delivering new trucks to customers.
  • Communicate professionally with customers about their vehicles.
  • Deliver vehicle documentation for signature.
  • Deliver vehicles after service completion.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Inspect each vehicle for damage and document findings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The CDL Driver is charged with professionally transporting customer vehicles for the Service Department or delivering a truck in or out of state as directed by the Sales Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver trucks and buses to various aftermarket companies and body companies to have aftermarket products and bodies installed.
  • Help salespeople deliver new trucks to the customer.
  • Speak professionally to customers regarding their vehicles.
  • Responsible for delivering documentation to customers for signature.
  • Deliver customer’s vehicles when the service department has performed service on the vehicle.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Inspect each vehicle to be transported and document any damage noting on the repair order.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, cramped spaces, loud noises, chemicals and fumes, dust, heights or work safety hazards
  • Normal amount of overtime or extended work hours required
Physical Effort
  • Normal physical mobility, which includes movement from place to place on the job taking distance and speed into account
  • Normal physical agility, which includes ability to maneuver body while in place
  • Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools
  • Normal physical strength to handle 50-pound object, taking frequency into consideration
  • Normal dexterity of hands and finger

Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
