Job summary

DHL Express currently has openings for a Dockworker. The Dockworkers ensure the efficient processing and handling of shipments on site. You will work under safety policies, contributing to a team environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include sorting, packing, loading/unloading, scanning shipments, and operating a forklift. Applicants must have a CDL A/B license, a high school diploma or GED, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Sort, pack, load and unload containers under tight deadlines.
• Palletize freight and separate documents.
• Prepare all delivery material for shipment.
• Operate a scanner to record shipping information.
• Drive forklift and handle material safely.
• Report any security concerns to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain good work habits and follow safety procedures.
• Assist supervisor with training and checking other staff.
