Job Description

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM

L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. We deliver products with the service and personal touch of a local business.

If you are a licensed CDL Driver seeking a rewarding, local opportunity with an established company, we want to hear from you! You will ensure the safety of each delivery from departure to completion.

Responsibilities

• Operating delivery vehicles to/from the delivery site
• Unloading and stocking building materials on jobsites
• Handling materials physically with a co-worker
• Overseeing safe loading of the vehicle to ensure accuracy and quality
• Obeying safety directives and traffic laws
• Supervising unloading at delivery sites for safety and accuracy
• Ensuring site safety during delivery
• Distributing and placing materials as per order tickets
• Operating boom, crane, or Gradall as needed
• Maintaining neat and presentable product placement
• Possible warehouse work including loading/unloading materials

Qualifications

• Valid CDL - Class B minimum
• Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials
• Physical ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance
• Drywall boom truck experience (a plus)
• Semi tractor & trailer experience (preferred)
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience (preferred)
• Crane certification (preferred)
