Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team in Springfield, MA. This driving role requires physical stamina, a clean driving record, and the ability to deliver on schedule while maintaining product integrity.

Responsibilities include following routes, loading and unloading goods, confirming deliveries, and coordinating with the warehouse. A CDL, strong communication, and time-management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• DOT physical must be passed.
• Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Professional and pleasant disposition; strong communication skills.
• Excellent time-management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or GPS to determine and track daily route.
• Deliver goods to specified locations with timeliness.
• Load and unload product; secure during transit.
• Record delivery confirmation and obtain signatures/payments when required.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and report vehicle issues to supervisors.
• Comply with road safety rules and company/state loading guidelines.
