The Delivery Specialist's role is to safely deliver products to customers, adhering to Kurita America and DOT regulations regarding hazmat shipping and handling, aiming for an on-time shipment rate of 95% or higher.

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Compensation: $28-30/hr

Regional Travel: 80-100% (including 2-3 overnight stays weekly, with 60% local travel)

Responsibilities

• Deliver products consistently and in a standardized manner.
• Exceed customer expectations through your job performance.
• Handle chemicals safely, understanding hazards involved.
• Collaborate with Logistics Planners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Ensure proper labeling and serial number matching for all tanks.
• Perform pre-trip and during-trip truck inspections; report mechanical issues.
• Maintain unloading equipment and tools in good condition; report issues.
• Keep the truck interior clean and exterior professional in appearance.
• Use and maintain electronic logs properly; report issues.
• Follow Kurita America work rules and disciplinary policies.
• Take direction from and assist the Fleet Manager.
• Be a valuable team member and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsements.
• Met or exceeded all requirements of the Kurita America Delivery Fleet Certification in at least one service type (Bulk, Drum, or Tote).

Physical Requirements: Must be physically qualified to operate a commercial vehicle, with a valid MVR.
