Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a delivery/service associate to provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with locating and loading merchandise, and coordinate with drivers for on-time deliveries. You will ensure safe loading practices and accurate loading of items while maintaining store safety standards.

Responsibilities include communicating product information, assisting customers with delivery logistics, and complying with DOT and CDL regulations.

Qualifications

Must possess Class A CDL License; in locations with multi-unit CMV a Class A license is required.
Must possess Class B CDL License or higher with air brake endorsement.
Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
Ability to pass MVR screen.
Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
Must be 21 years of age.
Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects when necessary.
Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, applications, and warranty information.
