Job summary

Engramec is seeking a CDL Driver to operate Class A or B trucks for deliveries and pickups between company facilities, vendors, and customer sites in the Largo, FL area. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain documentation, and support warehouse workflows as needed.

You will ensure DOT/HOS compliance, manage ELD logs, and handle loading/unloading, while representing the company professionally at all locations and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid CDLA or CDLB license as fleet requires.
• Clean MVR meeting company standards.
• Active DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance.
• Experience with ELD systems and HOS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B trucks for local and regional routes supporting manufacturing and warehouse distribution.
• Maintain compliance with Hours of Service (HOS), Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), drug/alcohol testing, and all federal/state transportation regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; report defects and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift gates; ensure proper cargo securement and weight distribution.
• Complete bills of lading, delivery receipts, manifests, and ELD logs accurately and on time.
• Assist with staging, inventory movement, RF scanning, and general warehouse support when not driving.
• Represent the company professionally at delivery and pickup locations; communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe material‑handling procedures.

The CDL Driver operates Class A or Class B commercial vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups between company facilities, vendor locations, and customer sites. The role performs required vehicle inspections, maintains accurate documentation, and follows all regulatory requirements. Drivers support warehouse workflows by assisting with staging, material handling, and equipment operation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Commercial Vehicle Operation- Safely operate Class A/B trucks for local and regional routes supporting manufacturing and warehouse distribution.

Required Qualifications:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting company standards.
• Active DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance.
• Experience with ELD systems and HOS regulations.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HazMat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples endorsements (if applicable).
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with WMS systems and RF scanning equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during loading/unloading activities.
• Work performed in warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments with exposure to weather conditions.
