Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a route delivery driver to perform daily product deliveries across assigned routes and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires vigilant vehicle inspection, timely order assembly, and accurate documentation of deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, DOT knowledge, and proven ability to communicate clearly with customers and supervisor. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and compliance with policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is required.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience is required.
• DOT certification is required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license is required in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes, and other related duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, and request service and repairs as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses, ensuring accurate delivery windows for each route stop.
• Place delivered products in various storage locations at each route stop according to customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Complete administrative tasks and related paperwork to ensure transportation efficiency.
